It is used as a starting material for the synthesis of tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl lithium with methyl lithium and in the preparation of lithium bis[(TMS)3silyl]cuprate.

Applications
It is used as a starting material for the synthesis of tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl lithium with methyl lithium and in the preparation of lithium bis[(TMS)3silyl]cuprate.

Notes
Store away from water/moisture and oxidizing agents. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition. Store under inert gas. Protect from humidity and water.
