Protino™ Columns can be used for retaining Protino™ Ni-TED or Protino™ Ni-IDA resin. They include separate filter frits for covering the resin after pouring it into the columns. The upper frit leads to optimal flow rates and prevents the columns from running dry. Plastic washers are also included.

Protino™ Ni-TED and Ni-IDA are used for purification of polyhistidine-tagged protein. They have high binding specificity with less unspecific binding of contaminating proteins (compared to Ni-NTA and Ni-IDA Agarose). They enable elution at low imidazole concentrations. Protino™ Resin (dry, bulk material), columns and well plates can be sold separately or as ready-to-use, pre-packed kits.

  • Ni-Ted is ideal for applications requiring high stability against chelating agents, with low metal leaching
  • Ni-IDA provides the highest yield/recovery, even from diluted samples
  • Resin has a rigid support silica matrix, is compatible with high pressure and high flow rates, and does not shrink or swell
  • High flexibility—Can be used in batch procedures, gravity-flow column chromatography, and FPLC™ applications
