Further, it is used in the synthesis of 1,3,4-oxadiazoles by the oxidation of N-acylhydrazones. In addition to this, it is employed in the Hofmann rearrangement for the conversion of cyclobutanecarboxamide to cyclobutylamine hydrochloride.
