Aluminum sec-butoxide, 97%
Descrizione
Aluminum sec-butoxide is used to prepare photosensitive alumina gel films. It is also used in the preparation of microporous crystalline aluminophosphate AlPO-41 and alumina mesoporous material. It is used as a gelling agent of paint and ink and water repellent substance of wood. Further, it acts as an active catalyst and reducer of aldehydes and ketones. In addition to this, it is used to make high-surface-area alumina using 2,4-pentanedione as a chelating agent.
This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
